Impact where it matters most

We design flexible, responsive services tailored to the unique needs of the people and places we support. From direct one-to-one support to shared resources and whole-community projects, our goal is simple: providing practical solutions that make a lasting impact.

Coaching Service

We offer support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, helping them find stability, independence and a pathway to a brighter future. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where people can thrive, gain confidence and improve their overall quality of life.

Delivered in partnership with existing organisational programs, our flexible coaching acts as a rapid-response resource for frontline teams. We step in with focused interventions for people who have disengaged or face complex, multiple needs, helping them achieve key stability goals while relieving pressure on staff.

Targeted Support

Helping socially isolated individuals in both social and private housing form meaningful connections, support in making their homes safe and suitable, helping to budget and apply for eligible benefits to strengthen their financial stability. We also facilitate care packages for those in need of additional support.

Our intervention addresses the root causes of issues before they escalate into costly problems.

Young Vulnerable Adults

Assisting those transitioning from supported housing to their own accommodation for the first time, offering guidance and a stable foundation to help them build independence.

Dedicated Hoarding Interventions

We deliver person-centred hoarding support to help people who feel completely overwhelmed by clutter. Working directly alongside residents in high-risk properties, we step into difficult situations with patience and zero judgment, to tackle the root causes of hoarding, make homes safe and functional, prevent evictions, and help people regain control of their lives.

How We Help?

We don't just clear spaces or throw things away. We work alongside people directly in their homes at a speed they can handle, ensuring progress is safe, manageable, and built to last:

  • No Pressure or Panic: We listen first. We help people work through the anxiety of letting things go without forcing quick decisions or causing distress.

  • Focusing on the Essentials: We start with what matters most, making sure kitchens and bathrooms work, unblocking doorways, and removing dangerous fire and health hazards.

  • Fixing Housing & Landlord Issues: We step in when housing warnings have been issued, making the home safe so landlords, repair teams, and care workers can enter securely.

Stability & Lasting Progress

We are not here for a quick reset that leaves you feeling shaken. Our purpose is true stability. By taking a calm, step-by-step approach, we take the panic out of housing risks, resolve urgent safety worries, and help keep tenancies secure.

Once a home is safe and working again, sorting out the clutter is only the first step. We stay around to make sure it stays that way. We work together to set up simple, easy daily routines that stop clutter from piling back up, and we help connect people with local groups and ongoing support so their home remains a place of pride, safety, and lasting progress.

Why Work With Cloud Nine?

Every item has a story, and nobody likes being told what to keep. We never throw anything away without permission, and we never carry out harsh, forced clear-outs.

By building trust and focusing on safety, we keep vulnerable people securely housed and prevent unnecessary evictions. Quick clean-ups simply don't work because the clutter usually comes right back. We focus on real, lasting changes so people never end up back at square one.

Community Building Initiatives

We have developed and implemented social isolation projects within Social Housing Developments to foster community building.

By collaborating with Neighbourhood Officers, Health and Wellbeing Teams, and other key personnel, we engage with residents to understand their situations and aspirations for themselves and their community. Common findings include:

  • Fragmented communities

  • A diminished sense of identity

  • Feelings of neglect

  • Limited connections and friendships

Our approach focuses on regaining a sense of community, encouraging social connections, building confidence and relationships between residents feeling isolated. We look to empower residents to create and sustain a self-managed vibrant and connected community.

Key Results:

Increased Engagement: Weekly activities started, ranging from group walks to creative sessions.

Boosted Participation: Attendance average of 21 participants per activity, with a peak of 28.

Empowered Community: Self-managed groups or Residents’ Associations established with elected committees to represent each development.

Managed Home Share

Older people are living longer, but wellbeing and quality of life can often suffer. The negative impact of isolation on health is well-known, highlighting the need for effective support.

To address this, we’ve established Managed Home Share (MHS), a sustainable housing and care solution designed to combat loneliness while helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life affordably.

MHS enables two older individuals to share a home together, keep their independence, give companionship and save money through shared living costs. Cloud Nine manages the entire process, from matching and safeguarding to ongoing support, helping residents build confidence and connect with their communities.

This approach aligns with the NHS's recognition of preventive care through social prescribing. By saving money through shared living, older adults can access essential support services without the financial burden.

Key Results:

Enhanced Wellbeing: ONS National Wellbeing Indicator results show a significant increase in wellbeing, ranging from 46% to 171%.

Sustained Success: Sharers with Managed Home Share have been sharing for over 6 years and counting.

Social Housing

We offer a unique Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) in partnership with Housing Associations, facilitating shared living within a social tenancy framework. Our successful three-party collaboration, supported by the County Council’s, involves:

  • Identification: District Councils identify older individuals at risk of homelessness.

  • Accommodation: Housing Associations source and provide suitable housing.

  • Support: Cloud Nine works directly with older adults to establish Managed Home Share, manage the scheme, and deliver ongoing support.

Private Accommodation

We connect homeowners with available rooms with same-aged renters seeking supportive living arrangements. This option is ideal for older adults who perhaps own a property now too large for them and costly to maintain or are living in an expensive private rental.

To ensure security and support for both homeowners and renters, we've developed a tailored License Agreement, providing a secure and sustainable private living solution.
